Brooklyn rock outfit Monograms are back with a fantastic, buzzy new single “Sleep Cycle.”
This track is quintessential NYC, with plenty of touchstones that will make any fans of Interpol, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and LIARS, very, very happy.
“Dreaming of being someone else isn’t really dreaming at all, it’s just an endless cycle cause you’re still just you. So, I wanted to make a video that had that thread through it but was weird and strange in a sorta Michel Gondry, Guillrmo Del Torro way, *but without the budget … and still open to interpretation.”
Check out the video for Sleep Cycle below, and check them out live on their fall tour. Their upcoming Beekeepers EP is out later this fall.
