Video Alert: Awolnation drops new video for “Seven Sticks of Dynamite”
music

LA’s own pop/rock sensationalists Awolnation just announced their third full length album Here Come the Runts, which is set to release February 2, 2018.  This new album follows on the heels of their platinum album Run, but forges new sonic territory for the band.  Front man Aaron Bruno had a clear vision for the album he wanted to make: “With this record I really wanted to make a rock n’ roll/pop album. And I say ‘pop’ how I grew up listening to it, in the sense of Dire Straits or Born In The U.S.A. or The Cars or Tom Petty.”  This classic pop/rock influence comes through in full force on their new boot-stompin’ single “Seven Sticks of Dynamite.”  Check out the new video for “Seven Sticks of Dynamite” below and see why Aaron Bruno calls it “a non-GMO record.”  In his own words, “There’s no fake s**t on there, none of the vocals are tuned. It’s all real playing.”

The new video was shot in beautiful Malibu, California amidst the picturesque Santa Monica Mountains.  We caught up with Aaron Bruno to talk about some of his favorite spots in Malibu, and you can check out the travel guide here.
