travel

On our continued Record Store Day journey, our next stop lands us in Austin at End of An Ear. Since it’s opening in 2005, End of an Ear has been one of Austin’s premier record shops. Their in-store collection is nothing less than eclectic. New, old, used, and vintage are all displayed prominently allowing for frequenters of the shop to choose from numerous decades, genres, and countries.

End of an Ear also boasts a selection of gear and equipment that can evolve your record collecting hobby to the next level. If you’re looking to get a new needle, speakers, or even a whole new turntable, End of an Ear can give you all of the above along with a few records on your way out.

The Austin music scene is a fast growing, diverse collection of artists who wear their hometown like a badge of honor. It’s only fit that they all have a record store to reflect the same interests. If you find yourself in Austin, be sure to stop in to get a glimpse of the entire Austin community all packed into a single shop.

End of an Ear comes recommended to you by Wildfires, Night Beats, The Sword, Shakey Graves, Ringo Deathstarr, and Okkervil River
