Yesterday was an epic battle between Chicago and NYC at the SHOWTIME House at Clive Bar. The all-day, all-night party celebrated THE CHI and BLACK MONDAY, and the artists from each big city.

During the day, Chicago and NYC partied the best way they knew how with city themed food favorites and a live street-art competition from the amazing art collective, Secret Walls. THE CHI’S Jacob Latimore and BLACK MONDAY’S Paul Scheer mc’d the competition, rooting for their respective city. Later in the evening, Chicago was represented by an amazing performance from dance-duo DRAMA, a set from THE CHI’S Jacob Latimore, showing his skills outside of the actor’s room, and a legendary performance from Grammy Lifetime Award Winner, Mavis Staples. Later on was a fantastic performance from Austin’s very own, Magna Carda, and a dance party of the year, with tunes from Brooklyn’s very own DJ Spinderella.
