Wes Martin – Marketing and “is not watching Pawn Stars right now, he promises”
recommends: American Fiasco

“Hosted by Roger Bennett of the essential Men In Blazers podcast (essential if you care at all about soccer that is), American Fiasco is a look back at the 1998 USMNT’s trip to the World Cup in France. Spoiler: we didn’t win. It’s an incredible story of a team that was supposed to be on the rise, showing the world that the US is to be reckoned with, instead crashing and burning in spectacular fashion on the global stage. The final 6 episodes of the 12 dropped today, so just grab them all now and you’ll be set for the next 6 hours or so. It really is fascinating.”

Monique Gilbert – Business Dev/Project Manager and “Celebrating the Larry David in all of us”
recommends: Liz Phair Exile In Guyville

“I was such a fan of that era of Chicago music (Liz Phair, Material Issue, Urge Overkill, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Red Meat, Eleventh Dream Day), but that scene had all but passed by the time I moved here. She’s been touring in support of Girly-Sound to Guyville: The 25th Anniversary Box Set, and I got the chance to see her at Empty Bottle here in Chicago this past weekend — pretty epic. Needless to say, I’ve been revisiting this album a lot over the past few days.”

Alan Miller – Founder and “Portland Pickles #1 fan”
recommends: Manchester Orchestra

“These guys appear to be getting better and better.”

Megan “McCredes” McCredie – Project Manager
recommends: Pony Sweat

“The LA based, high-energy aerobics dance class.. Pony Sweat! PS is so much fun, and everyone in the class makes you feel welcome. I recommend this class to all my Angelenos!”

Maria Sauer – Business Development/Project Manager and “Yuko Kitchen Extraordinaire”
recommends: Lyyke Li

“Listen now! So Sad So Sexy Lykke Li .”Deep End” and “Two Nights” — favorite tracks.”

Riley Dwyer – Social Media Manager and “Gluten Fan”
recommends: Dayglow Coffee

“I just found Dayglow coffee on sunset I feel like it’s actually an awesome summer spot and even though the donuts are vegan they’re really amazing. Plus the people who work there are never ‘I’m to busy and stressed’ type baristas, they’re actually friendly.”

Gigie Hall – Editorial Director and “Desert Rat”
recommends: Broccoli Magazine

“Remember when you and your friends had a code word for weed? During my high school years, it was Chinese food. Until recently, weed in the public eye still held that code word mystique, or at least elicited mild disapproval. With legalization spreading, cannabis is now the new craft cocktail or fancy tea you buy at whole foods, and there’s a very sweet publication documenting this new era in weed culture. Broccoli is beautifully designed, free and entirely created by women. And thank god.”
