Richard Pace – Business Development Director and “Seeker of Anything Fun”
recommends: Christmas movies

“With it being Christmas week, I’ve been brushing up on all the great Christmas Movies: National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, Elf…all the classics. ‘Buddy the Elf, whats your favorite color?’ – Buddy The Elf.”

Alan Miller – Founder and “Portland Pickles #1 fan”
recommends: Polvos

The Pescado al Horno is an all-time menu item.”

Gigie Hall – Editorial Director and “resident outdoor dirtbag”
recommends: Patagonia Retool in Rosewater

“Alright, so usually I comb through eBay or thrift stores looking for Patagonia, because fancy fleece is not worth an arm and a leg. But it’s that time of year where one makes rash online purchases because 2017 sucked, and it’s cold, and we all need a little something extra to make us feel nice. So I bought the fancy fleece and I’m so glad I did. It is heavenly.”

Molly Kodros – Project Manager and “resident bowler and karaoke extraordinaire”
recommends: World on Wheels and Taylor’s Steakhouse

“R&B roller skating at World On Wheels on Tuesday nights. Awesome crowd and killer jams. Founded in 1953 and located in the heart of Koreatown, Taylor’s Steakhouse is a GEM.  Amazing steaks, old school LA vibes, and there is even The Molly Dinner Salad (tomatoes, onions, and blue cheese- so good) on the menu. This place was made for me.”

Leah “Jeeves” hobbs – Artist Relations
recommends: Austin, TX and Amazon Prime

“I’m into Waterloo Records and happy hour at 24 Diner.  I’m also into Lustre Pearl’s Lemonade which is a strawberry infused moonshine. I’m unsure what I’m saying right now because of it. Also really into not having bought a single Christmas gift yet, self induced stress is the best!  Which brings me to being REALLY into Amazon Prime.”

Megan “Santa’s Little Helper” McCredie

“Show: Easy
Song: Brenda Lee “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” (on repeatttt)
Movie: Call Me By Your Name – Armie Hammer’s performance is outstanding and he makes me weak in the knees.”

Wes Martin – Marketing and “is not watching Pawn Stars right now, he promises”
recommends: Bruce Memesteen

“Bruce Memesteen’s Instagram is the BEST!  Also really into blackout curtains and the “Shack Pack” from Taco Shack. It’s three potato and egg, and three bacon and egg tacos split between friends. On a good day add guac. Also really into Pearl Snap right now.

Monique Gilbert – Business Dev/Project Manager and “Celebrating the Larry David in all of us”
recommends: Seth Avett and Jessica Lea Mayfield Sing Elliott Smith

“This is not new, it came out in ’15, but I’ve been listening to it a ton as of late. I love Elliott Smith and I love Jessica Lea Mayfield, and I guess her new album has me going back to older albums. This covers record is so sweet and sad and wonderful. The perfect soundtrack for a melancholy holiday mood.

Gillian Driscoll – Editorial Assistant and “Resident pop culture maven and Harry Styles fan”
recommends: Cards Against Humanity

Just played this ridiculous game at a Christmas party and it was a barrel of laughs (in a box). Also since Christmas is upon us I’m into all things festive: Christmas lights, ugly Christmas sweaters, Christmas greeting cards, the works.

Gabrielle Costa – Social Media / Marketing and “Vibe Manager”
recommends Kitchen Mouse

“Quick, on-the-go lunch @ TOPO by Kitchen Mouse ( + super cute cards, gifts, and delicious pastries).”

Robben Barquist – Intern and  “Resident Dungeon Delver”
recommends Ultra Silvam

“I’ve been really into the debut demo by this new Swedish black metal band called Ultra Silvam.  Came out earlier this year, 3 tracks of uncompromising black metal, with a touch of heavy metal sensibility thrown in for good measure.  Sounds kinda like Watain before they lost their edge.”
