“Today, I’ll Buy No Sorrow” is the newest single off the Austin based indie rock outfit The Sour Notes’ upcoming full length, Darkest Sour. “Today, I’ll Buy No Sorrow” is a killer track to add to your summer driving mix. It’s driven by a poppy rhythm section, catchy chorus and breezy vocals. For a song that is only two minutes and thirty two seconds, it doesn’t take long to get your head bopping. If the album is anything like the single it will be chock full of happy pop hooks you’ll want to listen to over and over again.
Darkest Sour has some great people involved in the recording process. Recorded all around Austin in various locations, Darkest Sour was mixed & mastered by Grammy winning engineers Steve Christensen (Steve Earle, Robert Ellis, Khruangbin) & Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, Run the Jewels, Parquet Courts) and will be released via No Play Music on Record Store Day Black Friday, November 24.
