Handsome Ghost

Handsome Ghost’s Tim Noyes crafts dulcet ballads that combine his love for acoustic guitar and electronic production. On latest single, “Fool” Handsome Ghost return to their roots, crafting a song as delicate as the subject: broken hearts.

“All the pain we caused, we’re better off, they can’t hold us down we’re strong enough. If it’s foolish love that we’re both guilty of, then call me a fool.”

“Fool” finds Handsome Ghost stuck between logic and love. Does he foolishy continue to pursue a volatile relationship, or should he submit and accept defeat?

“It’s hard to know which parts of the past are worth fighting for and which parts are better to just let go of” says Noves. “Sometimes it seems like you have to cut ties to move forward, but that’s a lot easier said than done.”

Today, Handsome Ghost officially announce the release of their debut album Welcome Back, due out January 26th via Photo Finish Records featuring “Fool.” The eleven song EP  was recorded in Noyes and keyboardist Eddie Byun’s home-studio in Massachusetts.  Welcome Back explores the emotional journey of relationships, and the search for closure and meaning underneath all the upheaval. “All of these songs have elements of desperation and uncertainty to them, and I think that’s why they are so important to me” remarks Noyes. If “Fools” is any indicator, Welcome Back promises to keep ears and hearts cozy and comforted throughout winter’s cold, long nights.

Established in 2014, Handsome Ghost quickly gained notice after their demo track “Blood Stutter” went viral on Spotify and their debut EP Steps amassed over 20 million streams. The band has further grown its fanbase with an extensive touring schedule, sharing stages with the likes of MisterWives, Marian Hill, BØRNS, X Ambassadors, K. Flay, Grizfolk and more, as well as making their debut appearances at this year’s Billboard Hot 100 Festival.
