New Order made a stop in the bay area in between their Coachella sets and with the band sounding as good as they’ve ever been live, Barney and company must have felt very confident to play about half of their latest album Music: Complete and it paid off as new tracks such as “Singularity” slid right into “Regret” without the jarring effect other band this stage of their career often encounter. Of course they played “Blue Monday” but a bigger surprise was the dusting off of Joy Division’s “Decades” which segued into a rousing edition of “Love Will tear Us Apart.”
