Reigning in its 11th year Outside Lands did not disappoint with a stacked lineup and newly appointed ‘Grass Lands’ an area focused on the celebration, education and integration of cannabis products into the festival scene. ‘Bout time, ya?
Crowds descending upon San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park were treated to sunny weather, gourmet eats, local Cali wines, art installations and comedy sets to round out the experience for festival goers in it for the long haul. As the fog rolled in each night the tone was set for a particularly ethereal vibe as the forest lit up with all the colors and a feeling that you were lucky to be a part of this magical, regional fest that still feels somewhat under the radar.
Fan favorites and first time ( in OSL history!) female headliners Florence and the Machine and Janet Jackson stole the show with powerful sets closing out two of three nights to high energy, tune-belting fans! Check out our recap with highlights from Shannon and the Clams, Father John Misty, Chvrches, Bon Iver, Portugal The Man, Lucy Dacus, Pale Waves, Salt-N-Pepa and more.
