UPSAHL

In a world where bad news seems to always be around the corner, UPSAHL’s stripped down version “12345SEX” is sure to help with drowning out the noise.

When she was 17, UPSAHL started releasing songs, which gained much-deserved recognition throughout the Phoenix music scene. Music was never out of the question for her considering she grew up around rock n roll parents. A graduate of the Arizona School for the Arts, a performing arts middle/high school, she continued to hone her craft, while being classically trained on piano, guitar and choir every day. UPSAHL went on to ignite a groundswell of fan adoration and tastemaker praise by way of numerous indie pop gems. “Can You Hear Me Now” achieved palpable viral buzz followed by “Kiss Me Now”“Rough,”and“Drugs”.

The alt pop songstress dropped “12345SEX” earlier this year to rave reviews. The track’s seductive and honest lyrics pair well with her bass heavy groove, making it incredibly impossible to not bop along to the song. “12345SEX” will surely make the rounds among pre-gaming folks in a post-COVID world.  Today, we have the honor of premiering a stripped away version of the song.

UPSAHL builds the song, playing the familiar melody we know and love. Her performance not only showcases her amazing voice but also her impressive musicianship, effortlessly constructing the song layer by layer. She makes it look so damn easy!
