PREMIERE: Spirited alt-pop outfit The Habits shine in new tongue-in-cheek visuals for “Amelia”

Capturing all the charm of a typical late-night talk show, The Habits create the perfect witty satire with their new video.

Their single “Amelia” is a bubbly tune and the humorous visuals pair seamlessly with the song’s already cheery vibes. Highlighting glistening synths, boisterous bass and rich vibrant vocals, this animated anthem instantly has the listener feeling good. The track details one person in a relationship reassuring the other one that everything will work out as they may be having some doubts.

The video opens with the actress Amelia being interviewed on the fictional Nightlife with Terry Frack about her new movie, but this quickly goes sour with the mention of her ties to The Habits’ lead singer Wolf Bradley

Much to her dismay The Habits are actually performing on that very same show. This comical scenario makes for a very amusing viewing experience.

Meeting in the small town of San Pedro, band members Wolf Bradley (singer/guitarist) and Andrew Macatrao (drummer) have concocted highly infectious melodies that remain ingrained in your head. Though much of their offerings are playful and upbeat, it is often juxtaposed by melancholy messages of loss, love and everything in between.

Indicative of bands like One Republic and Maroon 5, their vehement vocals paired with bright arrangements form the ideal danceable hits. Frequenting every bar, club and basement in Los Angeles, their dedicated drive and love for entertaining audiences have made The Habits a true standout presence in the indie music scene.
