The Los Angeles quartet has released a new track, Sharp, ahead of their sophomore release Take Me which is set to release May 21st, 2021. The track is a culmination of gliding, sugary kineticism representative of Livingmore’s fun-loving stylings. “It’s a dance-your-problems away album,” describes lead vocalist, Alex Moore. “Even though we all go through bummers, we can still jump around, rock out, have a good time, and not take life too seriously.”
Take Me will follow up the groups 2018 release OK to Land which proved catalytic to Livingmore’s early internet traction. Now having amassed over two million total streams, Livingmore sets the bar high for themselves as they fully blossom into their groups identity. Sharp, a track certainly not lacking in personality, is one of a goal realized. Now accomplished architects of the pop tool-kit, Livingmore builds the track from the bottom up. A truly infectious chorus propelled by Moore’s effortlessly smooth vocal timbre placed atop propulsive drums is sure to remind listeners of the heydays of disco just as much as it is a snapshot of modern indie. To prepare listeners for their sophomore release, Livingmore assembles like the Power Rangers with Sharp being a true Megazord of a track.
