The pop singer-songwriter, previously a member of the band Linus Young, creates a catchy song with an uplifting message behind it.
A beautiful three-minute pop creation, IRIS’ newest single hopes to motivate listeners into taking action and having fun. The track is danceable and allows her vocals to take center stage. Her voice is reminiscent of other rock-inspired pop singers such as Miley Cyrus.
Trusting her creative instincts, IRIS teamed up with producer Malay (Frank Ocean, John Legend) and artist Trey Campbell (Bebe Rexha, Celine Dion) to co-write this uplifting single. For IRIS, it’s a step towards a new, fuller, more fun sound.
In talking about the message behind the song, IRIS said, “Remember that you will always be you and that’s something to be proud of. Live everyday the best way you can and don’t let anyone dim your shine.”
