PREMIERE: Hotel Fiction unveil effortless narrations and pleasant melodies in ‘Ghost Train’

Rising stars from Athens, Georgia have achieved much since their debut single “Astronaut Kids” that introduced the pair’s whimsical charm. Today, the two share an imaginative ballad “Ghost Train” accompanied by radiant acoustic guitars and sweet piano tones.

Best friends and bandmates Jade Long and Jessica Thompson have each been involved with music for over ten years and started playing together in January 2019.

“Ghost Train” follows charming and heartfelt track “Out of My Head” and showcases the duo’s unparalleled skills.

With a Phoebe Bridgers-esque aesthetic and wistful, winding melodies, “Ghost Train” is both pensive and prominent.

Blissfully, in a hopeful tone, Long croons, “I want a start that’s new, I wanna know what’s true, Just me and you.”

While taking one significant step towards your new life, “Ghost Train” hums softly behind as it carefully leads you into the beguiling unknown.

“I used to wake up to the sound of a train every night around 3 a.m. at my old apartment and never actually saw where it was coming from. I always wondered where it was going and who was on it. The Ghost Train came to symbolize a path to a better life and a path out of darkness and isolation, so I wrote this song about that journey to somewhere better,” – Jade Long
