NYC based duo Prelow are coming out of the 2018 gate at a brisk pace releasing their newest track “Goes To Shit” five days in, their video shortly after and here we are with the lyric video and it isn’t even February.
Gotta keep up, kids. With a solid footing in hip hop beats and electro pop stylings, Matt Walsh and Jesse Aicher feature youthful lyrics with a social commentary on their latest effort. With help from pop songstress Phoebe Ryan and hazy, synth R&B up-and-comer London O’Conner on the co-write, Prelow stay aligned with their signature sound taking a small turn toward indie rock. The lyric video features behind the scenes video footage shot on their most recent tour giving you a glimpse into their playful tour life juxtaposed with the the less playful lyrics falling off the screen. The way these guys have started the new year it’s doubtful their musical efforts will follow the title of their latest track. Matt and Jesse are currently in the studio working with Anthony Kilhoffer (Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Travis Scott) and Max Hershenow from Ms Mr. and Lostboycrow with plans to release music throughout the rest of the year.
