Monday Playlist: Super Blue Blood Moon

This week COLLiDE brings you a witchy playlist in honor of the ‘Super Blue Blood Moon‘, a rare celestial occurance that last took place 150 years ago.

On the dawning of Wednesday, January 31 watch the sky for the total lunar eclipse. Why the name? A blue moon is a full moon that happens twice in one month, and this moon will be close to the earth’s orbit. The eclipse will create a reddish hue, so altogether you have the ‘Super Blue Blood Moon.’

To prepare for the unexplained strangeness that takes place with any super moon / lunar eclipse we have a starry playlist to welcome this cosmic event. So go ahead and gaze upwards and let Fleetwood Mac, Fever Ray, Bjork, BORNS, The Mynabirds and many more, be your celestial guides.
