Marfa Myths Announces Additional Performers

Marfa Myths, the annual multidisciplinary arts and music festival put on by Mexican Summer and Ballroom Marfa, has announced it’s full schedule and roster, including a newly expanded comedy lineup and additional music and visual art installations. The festival, now in it’s sixth year, will be held in Marfa, Texas from April 25 to 29.

Among the newly-announced artists are Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Jerry Paper, drummer and jazz composer Makaya McCraven, British DJ Josey Rebelle and West African country-folk duo Jess Sah Bi and Peter One. They join previously announced artists including Khruangbin, Deerhunter, Cass McCombs and many more.

In addition to musical and visual art performances, Marfa Myths will feature a series of artists in residence. This year’s recording artists in residence are Tim Presley and Drugdealer. The visual artist in residence Anne Howard, with Connan Mockasin and Cate Le Bon joining as the festival’s respective painter and wood worker in residence.
