The Ryman Auditorium is a 2,362-seat live performance venue in Nashville, Tennessee and is best known as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974.  Such is its renown that it has been fondly referred to as both the “Mother Church of Country Music” and the “Carnegie Hall of the South.”
