The New Beverly Cinema is a historic movie theater. Housed in a building which dates to the 1920s, it is one of the oldest revival houses in the region. Committed to celluloid, the New Beverly solely project films in 35mm print. After 10 years of being a benefactor of the theater, Oscar-winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino became owner and head programmer in 2014, and schedules the vast majority of the monthly programming. Occasionally films are screened from Tarantino’s private collection. Midnight screenings are held on Friday and Saturday.
