Lincoln Park
Chicago’s largest park, Lincoln Park sits beside Chicago’s lakefront and is named after Abraham Lincoln. A statue of Lincoln (along with many others including General Ulysses S. Grant) can be found in the park. The park also contains the Lincoln Park Zoo, Lincoln Park Conservatory, an outdoor theatre, a rowing canal, the Chicago History Museum, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool, the North Pond Nature Sanctuary, and North Avenue Beach.
The Lincoln Park neighborhood features nightlife, dining and entertainment including the revered Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and comedy clubs Up and Second City.
