Bob Baker Marionette Theater

“Malibu for a swim, Griffith Park for a hike, Highland Park for tennis courts, the Eastside to see a show — if we’re lucky it’s at Bob Baker Marionette Theater.” – The Paranoyds

Recommended in the Los Angeles edition of the Waterloo Sparkling Sessions, presented by Waterloo Sparkling Water.

The Bob Baker Marionette Theater, founded by Bob Baker and Alton Wood in 1963, is the oldest children’s theater company in Los Angeles. In June 2009, the theater was designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
