Comic-Con International: San Diego is a nonprofit educational corporation dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, comics and related popular artforms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.
An annual 2-day music conference held in November. Features interactive and roundtable sessions with nationally-known panelists and featured speakers. Day time activities including a trade show, happy hour parties, listening stations and pop up live performances. Evenings feature performances by over 150 local, regional, and national bands performing at various venues around San Diego.
Petco Park is home to Major League Baseball team the San Diego Padres. The arena has beautiful views of the city and its architecture celebrates the sea, the sky, and cultural diversity of San Diego: Indian sandstone and stucco, white steel and dark blue seats mimic the beaches and ocean by the bay. Also hots concerts, soccer, golf, and rugby events.

Award-winning low key live music venue featuring concerts and events ranging from emerging to popular artists. Expect everything from alternative rock, rock, reggae, and hip-hop to blues, folk, jazz, Latin and more, plus the occasional dance party thrown in the mix.
Legendary underground rock venue with an established history of booking up-and-coming bands before they breakout (including Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana and Alanis Morissette to name a few). Other entertainment includes pool tables and pinball. Bring earplugs, the space is small and loud.
