House of Vans in Brooklyn will have its final run of free shows this summer.
Since 2011, the House of Vans free summer parties have been a welcome alternative to shelling out major dough to see really good bands. This year will be its last year in the Brooklyn space and they recently released the lineup, including Action Bronson, Slowdive, Deerhunter, and more. Interpol will be closing it out in August (full schedule and dates below) and we’ll be all sad and mopey, but also have a really good time, as we are wont to do when we listen to Interpol.
House of Vans Chicago also released their lineup with performances from Iceage, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Wolf Parade scheduled for the summer. New for this year, the headliner will be curating the day’s supporting acts and a personalized visual experience. Vic Mensa performs on May 31 to start things off. RSVP for that show is open here.
