Gallery: Tusks Goes Analog On the Road
tour diary

London multi-hyphenate, Tusks (aka Emily Underhill) wears many hats.

As a skilled producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, the UK native has quickly garnered attention since the release of her 2014 debut EP, Ink. Her aptly named 2017 album Dissolve does just that to the listener — with an even more expansive take on her signature ambient rock, one can’t help but get lost in the soundscapes that range from hushed to grandiose. During her latest North American tour with Icelandic artist Ásgeir, Tusks recorded her time on the road with a couple film cameras, and the resulting shots are magic. Check out TUSK’s images and words below.

Hey! My name’s Tusks, I’m a solo artist from London, UK and these are a collection of film photos I took from a recent tour I did around the United States and Canada with Asgeir. I’ve been getting more and more into shooting on film and all photos in this feature are taken on my two current favourite films: Lomochrome Purple from Lomography and Kodak Gold 200. Currently everything I shoot is taken on a Ricoh 500RF which I got second hand last year and have been so impressed with. Hope you enjoy!
