Coming out of the gate with over 30M streams on Spotify, Caroline Pennell drops her first seven track EP Phases, out today on Nettwerk Music and COLLiDE gave it a listen.

Caroline Pennell first caught ears when she was Top 8 contestant on The Voice in 2013. Following the show, she turned her energy toward exploring her own songwriting and artistry.  In 2016, the New Jersey-native packed her bags and headed west to Los Angeles where she wrote and recorded her new EP Phases. Give Phases a spin around the block and take a listen for yourself.

WHAT COLLiDE THINKS

That is some just out of a bath, fuzzy sock and robe wearing, tea sipping on a cold day, writing in a journal music.  Monique Gilbert – VP Account Management and “Celebrating the Larry David in all of us”

Music transcends from yoga to dance party with ethereal synth pop lyrics. Maria ‘Yuko Kitchen Extraordinaire’ Sauer – VP, Biz Development

The perfect electro pop groove to launch me into the weekend. Gigie Hall – Editorial Director and “resident outdoor dirtbag”

Breezy and cool, perfect driving music to get to me from the 10 to Malibu on a Saturday afternoon. Leah “I Got A Guy For That” Hobbs – Artist Relations

Ethereal, synth pop, odezsa-like. Megan “McCredes” McCredie – Project Manager

Upbeat, breezy pop for a sunny L.A. afternoon. Gabrielle Costa – Social Media / Marketing and “Vibe Manager”

Her voice is pretty dreamy with a dream pop vibe, I dig.  In the same vein as Vallis Alps and Billie Eilish. Erin “I make lists of the lists I need to check off” Mitchell – Project Assistant
