The Polyphonic Spree

Tim Delaughter has been making music for the better part of 25 years, getting his start in the band Tripping Daisies. But perhaps he is best known for his role in founding The Polyphonic Spree in the year 2000. Exploring the worlds of pop, psychedelia, and orchestral music, Delaughter enlisted 12 other musicians to assist in this exploration. What resulted were wondrous, colorful, epic musical arrangements involving a choir, horns, various string instruments, electronics, and more. Known for crafting “feel-good” music, The Polyphonic Spree continues to perform and spread their positivity all over the world.

Beginning in 1922, films were added and Big Bands featuring Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington continued the tradition of live entertainment.
