The Cuckoos

Jim Morrison may be dead, but his spirit lives on in the form of Kenneth Frost, front man of Austin psych-rock revivalists The Cuckoos. This retro-inspired four piece play classic late 60s-style acid rock with such authenticity, you’d never believe these guys were all born in the 90s. Beyond the obvious Doors influence, these boys throw in a bit of funky groove, a touch of 80s new wave romanticism, and just a little 90s alt-rock murk to really make the sound their own.
