Rodes Rollins

Originally from Colorado, Rodes Rollins combines her love of the west and its vast landscapes with the grit and power of her current home in NYC. Following her striking debut EP Young Adult, Rodes Rollins is back and bolder than ever with her newest track “Nasty Woman,” a visual and sonic punch to the patriarchy. For her latest release, Rollins teamed up with producer Alex Goose (Weezer, Kevin Gates) and drummer Kane Ritchotte of Portugal, the Man. The result is an uncompromising feminist anthem that adds a fierce edge to her Americana roots. “’Nasty Woman’ is a song centered on the themes of female empowerment and pride,” Rodes says. “Songwriting has always been a tool for me to tell stories – some fictional, and some very personal and real.”

"I've lived in New York for six years now, and I've gotta say, Pizzeria Locale is still my favorite pizza! Their flavors are so good, and the dough they use is on a different level. This is a can't-miss spot. My order is the Diavola with no salame add mushrooms!" -Rodes Rollins

Dot’s Diner
"This greasy spoon is a family staple for me. Growing up, my dad would take my sister and I there for breakfast every Sunday morning. I would always order Texas Toast with extra powdered sugar, and they would get Huevos Rancheros (extra well done). Give it a try. I'd recommend going earlier in the day, as the death metal starts blasting around 3pm when they are trying to get the brunch stragglers out." -Rodes Rollins
