Post Animal

Playing uncompromised rock n’ roll oozing with an endearing, goofy energy, Post Animal is a legendary group in their local scene. Originating from the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, the band adds Midwestern flavor and pop to the psychedelic rock genre. Also noteworthy is the band’s visual statement; Post Animal complement their music with vividly illustrated album covers and bizarrely entertaining music videos. They’ve just released their debut LP When I Think Of You In A Castle, and are currently touring the Midwest. Watch the video for “Gelatin Mode,” a single off the new record, and catch Post Animal live in a town near you! Also be sure to check out Post Animal’s preferred Chicago haunts in our travel guide.
