Million Miles

Singer and musician Million Miles grew up in Paris, studied at Berklee, and now calls London home. Her bluesy soul sound is a refreshing throwback to a time when music thrived on quality alone. There’s nothing flashy in her work; Million Miles doesn’t need any gimmicks to get noticed. She sings with a confidence beyond her years, and no details are overlooked on the accompanying instrumentals. She recently took NYC, Nashville, and Los Angeles by storm on her first US tour. Below she shares her favorite London spots. Her tip? “Skip the tubes, skip the buses and walk as much as possible, London is so beautiful, always look up, walk down the river. And always make sure you have an umbrella!”

Check out her single “Ice Cream & Cigarettes” below and stay on the lookout for new music from Million Miles.

"The vibe is awesome... and it's surprisingly one of the best breakfasts you can find in London. Not your typical English breakfast, the naan rolls are incredible. There's normally a wait but [it's] well worth it." -Million Miles

Crystal Palace Park
"Crystal Palace Park is amazing, there's an old outdoor theatre, roman ruins, a beautiful lake and bizarrely a group of dinosaur sculptures. So the story goes, people used to have speakeasy dinner parties inside them! Also, I shot the video for Can't Get Around a Broken Heart there." -Million Miles

Hampstead Heath
This large, ancient park sits upon one of the highest points in London, offering some of the best views of the city. The park includes Parliament Hill, Golders Hill Park (zoo and butterfly house), an open air Lido, swimming ponds, and wide expanses of grassland and ancient woodland. Pack a picnic and have a dip in one of the swimming ponds and see for yourself why Hampstead Heath has inspired countless films, books and poems from Karl Marx and The Kinks to Notting Hill.
