The theatre first opened on August 22, 1929, just two months before The Great Depression and retains its original architecture and design. Seating 800 people, the theater features a dark blue ceiling made to look like the night sky, and Italian inspired design to make guests feel as if they are watching a film in an open-air Tuscan palazzo.
