The Hourglass Cats, or THC, are a high energy 7 piece Desert RocknRoll and Sonoran Reggae collective based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Originally formed in 2012 as a 2 piece band with Drummer “Hot Karl” Maier & Frontman Cori Rios, THC quickly grew to the 7 Piece band it is known as today. THC have become known as the go to local party band for many festivals around AZ, CA, TX & Mexico and have shared stages with acts like Portugal. The Man, Phantogram,  Passion Pit, Thievery Corporation, Slightly Stoopid and many more. They have garnered local radio play on Alt AZ, KWSS, KUKQ and have consistently released singles, 2 Eps, a remix album and are set for a full length album due out spring 2020. The band currently consists of Chaz Fertal (Saxophone) Cori Rios (Gtr/Vox) Cristian Ritchie (Bass) Enrique Naranjo (Drums)Henri Bernard (Percussion) Jesse Morrison (Percussion) Josh Montag (Percussion).
