Galactic

Jazzy funk sextet Galactic have established themselves as one of New Orleans quintessential bands. The band has become known for regularly hosting hometown shows where they invite traveling artists to perform with them. The result has led to memorable shows with jazz and funk artists like the Soul Rebels Brass Band, The Neville Brothers, Brian Seeger, George Porter and more. On the road, Galactic have played with such renowned artists as The Meters, Maceo Parker, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Ave, Toots and the Maytals, and many more. In 2015, Galactic released their latest album, Into the Deep which guest featured Macy Gray, Maggie Koerner, and Mavis Staples amongst others.

The band is featured in our latest NOLA vinyl package.
