Gabriel Garzón-Montano is a multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn. After the release of his debut EP Bishouné: Alma del Huila, in 2014, he earned the spotlight by opening for Lenny Kravitz’s European tour, and in 2015 he was sampled in Drake’s song “Jungle.” Garzón-Montano’s aesthetic is an extension of his French-Colombian heritage, which blends funk, soul and R&B. He recently wrapped up the Isolation tour in support of Kali Uchis, where he showcased his critically acclaimed debut album Jardin, released in 2017. With a wide range of music and visual influences, Garzón-Montano’s nuanced and expertly crafted fusion sound is not to be missed.
