Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah

Christian Scott (aka Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah), picked up his first trumpet at the age of twelve and has been playing ever since. The Grammy nominated trumpeter, composer and producer, was born in New Orleans and strongly influenced by Mardi Gras Indian culture, jazz and hip-hop. In March 2017 Scott released Ruler Rebel followed by Diaspora in June 2017. The two records are part of his series called The Centennial Trilogy, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of recorded jazz while also reflecting on the social and political climate then versus now.

You can find Christian Scott in our latest NOLA vinyl package.
