The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, author, and actor began his career in Minnesota, but his childhood roots trace back to Madison. As much of a one-man-band as he is a collaborator, Herstand’s ethereal folk-rock features an inventive use of looping, thoughtful lyrics, and a healthy respect for harmony.
