Anders Osborne

Born in Sweden, guitarist singer/songwriter Anders Osborne touched down in New Orleans in the late 80s where he cut his teeth playing live shows and has called the city home ever since. The spirit of NOLA can be felt in the artist’s fervent vocal delivery and guitar playing as he blends blues, soul, funk and R&B into one impassioned sound. Since the release of his debut album in 1989, Anders Osborne has spent a majority of his time touring playing with everyone from Toots and the Maytals, Keb Mo, The Stanton Moore Trio, Luther Dickinson and many more.  In 2016 he released his 14th and 15th albums, Spacedust & Ocean Views, and Flower Box, respectively.

Anders Osborne is featured in our latest NOLA vinyl package.

New Orleans, LA
St. Louis Cemetery No. 3
Less visited than its counterparts, Cemetery No. 3 offers a piece of rest and quietude for those both above and below ground. Established in 1854, each tomb recounts a chapter in New Orleans' rich history—from immigration patterns to floods and yellow fever outbreaks. Walk the rows to see marble and stone gravesites that are themselves works of art.
